Thanks, Paul. I’m looking forward to this, although I have to work on the 2nd, so I’ll have to cut the end short.
Too bad, but at least you’ll be able to catch most of it. And you’re welcome!
My favorite time of year to watch TV with my favorite show of all time! Thanks for posting.
You’re welcome, Steve!
There is nothing better on TV than the original Twilight Zone marathons.
No argument here, Joe.
So excited!!!! I’ve been on tip toed anticipation. Thanks!
My pleasure!
Ugh they are not playing 2 of my favorites “miniature” and “the fugitive”
Too bad. I’m missing some personal favorites as well, but then again, with 66 episodes NOT on the schedule, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Maybe on July 4th they’ll show them.
My favorite part of New Year’s for I don’t know how many years. It will never get old. I’m so glad this tradition continues on. It just wouldn’t be the same without it. Thanks so much SyFy for this. I’ll be tuned in!
Glad to hear it, Casey!
I can’t believe the episode “The Hunt” is on the schedule??!! That is my favorite
Such a shame! I like that episode, too.
I am so looking forward to this!
Me too, but I guess that’s no surprise!
I will sent my DVR Thanks for the heads up
Sure thing!
u da MAN Paul! Thanks for posting this! I look forward to every New Year’s Day just because of Mr. Serling’s masterpieces!
Glad to provide it! I refer to it myself throughout the marathon.
Watching the Twilight Zone marathon every New Years has been a family tradition for 15 years. Passing the tradition down to the kids.
Glad to hear that, Pam. So many adult fans remember fondly how they first watched it with a parent or grandparent.
The upstairs TV will be playing this for the entire duration, our annual tradition! Happy new year!
Happy New Year to you, too, Steve!
Thank u Paul. I also look 4ward 2 this. Every year. I really appreciate the schedule. Wish they had done it prior years. 2day is 12/31/17, 4:53am.
Happy to provide it, Victor!
Can’ believe Black Leather Jackets did not make the list
I know! So many favorites weren’t included. Next time, let’s hope.
I love this show watched with my late dad but disappointed “night of the meek”
Really surprised that one wasn’t shown, especially during the Christmas season!
My favorite episode night of meek isn’t on schedule so disappointed
:(
Tim daly his dad plays in a stop at willoby can’t wait to see him James Daly
And then there’s Tyne — acting clearly runs in the family!
Great show !
Indeed it is!
Watching the marathon and the ironic music during the commercials is not playing. Who’s idea was it to change it and why?
Wish I knew. Syfy just does their thing, good or bad. :-/
The iconic music is missing also.
Odd decision!
Hello,I am a Twilight Zone fanatic but,all those episodes it would be great to see others like my best In a matter of minutes.minutes . can’t see that anywhere
Well, that’s from the ’80s TZ, so I’m not surprised it wasn’t included. I wouldn’t mind seeing a marathon of those, however.
I love the episodes that reference my hometown, Binghamton, NY streets and places.
Rod Serling went to school in Binghamton with my uncle. He loved writing and was a quiet kid always thinking.
Sci fi pioneer….
Great family connection there, Michael, with a man who, yes, was a true pioneer.
Excellent lineup for this year’s marathon. Upset that the screen size was reduced to add the SyFy logo.
Ugh, I know what you mean. Glad you enjoyed the episodes, however.
The schedule provided is really awesome; thank you for doing that! My comment is directed at the SyFy channel, not this site, but after trying unsuccessfully to find a “Comment” or “Feedback” option on their site, I thought I would vent here in the hopes that a larger group may be able to find a way to communicate my complaint to them some how. As an older guy I grew up watching Twilight Zone. I was really looking forward to sharing these with my 18 year old son. However, some genius at SyFy came up with the brilliant idea to show clips in between the commercial breaks related to the current episode being shown. Problem is, in almost all cases these clips show the upcoming twist in the story, completely spoiling the surprise as it would unfold during the story line! REALLY! Ruined watching every episode. SyFy should be berated for this and whoever came up with this plan should be removed from this department. Complete bummer.. took all the enjoyment of sharing this with someone seeing it for the first time.
That’s a great point, Patrick. I hope Syfy changes this practice. I realize these are vintage shows, and many of the twists are practically part of our cultural lexicon, but come on — there are new fans coming along all the time! Why spoil it for them?
I’m so glad I found your Facebook page!! I have to work tomorrow so I won’t be able to stay up to see them all. Sigh…. Let the post-TZ-Marathon withdrawals begin….. Anxiously waiting the 2018 July 4th TZ Marathon!!
Thanks, Wendy! Glad you found it as well, as yes, I’m looking forward to the July 4 marathon as well.
What really angered me with the “Twilight Zone Marathon”, was the episode “Living Doll” & “Little Girl Lost”. I have no doubt, there r others!
In “Little Girl Lost”, the scene where Eric (Telly Savales) had the dolls (Talky Tina) head inside the vice grip, failing 2 drill a hole in the head, this remembered scene is deleted!
In “Little Girl Lost” where Bill, friend of Chis– the Physicist–mark points on the wall (a border so-2-speak) where the lit’l girl entered, & lost. This part was edited! Not jus’ symmetrics was involved here, but there was interest & fascinate 2 it.
Y in the hell, do u edit this classic series?! What gives u the right?! If u morons think this is 2 sensitive 4 kids, then u need 2 edit the whole damn planet, because the world is made up this way!
Kids, need 2 b educated about the cruelty, racism, etc., &/or strange phenomena that does exist, in the real world we inhabit. Date:
1/2/17 10:33am
The edits bother me very much as well, Victor. I know they have to run ads that pay the bills, but the cuts that they’ve been making in recent years are so ham-handed.
Syfy, if you happen to be reading this, I really hope you’ll air versions that aren’t so insensitively butchered. We appreciate the marathon, believe me, but bad edits DO mar the experience.
I absolutely love the Twilight Zone, and have for many years. Is there a Twilight Zone marathon on the SyFy channel today, President’s Day?
Glad to hear it! They did show a few episodes in a row this morning, so you could call it a mini-marathon.
Sad that we won’t have a 2018 July 4 marathon
Right? I was all set to make up my schedule post.
